Le fosa ( Cryptoprocta ferox) est le plus grand pr\u00e9dateur de Madagascar et c\u2019est un tr\u00e8s bon chasseur. Il ressemble \u00e0 un chat sauvage, grimpe aux arbres, chasse la nuit, et vit dans la for\u00eat. Fosa est un mot malgache qui se prononce foussa.
Le fosa a un corps long, une queue tr\u00e8s longue et de grandes pattes. Il est rapide et agile et adore se cacher dans la for\u00eat pour surprendre ses proies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son plat pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 ? Les l\u00e9muriens. Mais il mange aussi des oiseaux, des grenouilles et des petits animaux. Le fosa chasse surtout la nuit, car il voit tr\u00e8s bien dans le noir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le fosa est timide. Il ne fait pas de mal aux humains, mais il a besoin qu\u2019on prot\u00e8ge sa for\u00eat, car il y vit avec sa famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
